Current Chair
Dr. Keith R. Leatham
Dr. Leatham received his BS in mathematics and MM in mathematics from Utah State University and then went on to receive a PhD in mathematics education from the University of Georgia. He spent time teaching at Timpview High School and as a professor at Portland State University before he came to BYU. After graduating with his doctorate, he joined the BYU mathematics education faculty in 2003.
Recent Retirees
Prof. Scott J. Hendrickson
Professor Hendrickson retired from his position as an associate teaching professor in August of 2020. Hendrickson received his BA and MA in mathematics education from BYU. He spent 26 years teaching high school math in the Alpine School District before joining the BYU mathematics education faculty in 2005.
