Current Chair

Dr. Brooks Britt

Brooks Britt first came to BYU as an undergraduate student. After graduating with both his bachelor's and master's degrees in geology, he went on to get a PhD from the University of Calgary. He later returned to BYU as an associate professor and has taught and conducted research with his students for over 20 years. His research is focused on paleontology as well as sedimentology and stratigraphy.
