Getting Started

Start Early! Contact the Research Development Office Early in Order to Get the Best Help with Your Proposal

Get started by meeting with your research development officers. Find their contact information on Meet Our Team. Meet with them at least two months before submission deadline to go over application requirements, guidelines, and deadlines. The research development staff will help to create a detailed budget, justification, and gather documents.

Once the necessary documents have been gathered and you have coordinated with collaborators and subcontractors the full proposal can be completed. The completed proposal should be in Kuali ready for review by the research administration office five business days before the proposal deadline. The research administration office will then submit the completed proposal before the deadline passes.
