Undergraduate Research Assistant (URA) Support
The college provides funding to support undergraduate research assistant wages. That support is provided in two different channels:
Professors with strong evidence of significant external research
- Limit of 10 students
- One additional student for each externally funded grad student or postdoc
- Applications and reports are completed by students at mentoring.byu.edu
Professors without significant external research
- College funding distributed directly to departments
- Each department has its own process to distribute funds
