Students in the College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences are invited to attend the first annual Student Alumni Networking Dinner (SAND).
The dinner will take place on Thursday, November 12, at 6:00 p.m. in the Smith Fieldhouse Indoor Track Annex. The College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (CPMS) and the Student Alumni Association (SAA) will be co-hosting the event.
Students who attend the dinner will have the opportunity to network with alumni of the College. With a projected student-alumni ratio of five, the event will provide an intimate atmosphere where students can ask questions to individual alumni and receive specific advice.
“The BYU RISE initiative seeks out, recognizes, and promotes outstanding alumni from each college,” said Alumni Board member Cindy Snow. “The Student Alumni Association then provides opportunities for current students to network and create meaningful connections with these outstanding alumni.”
Dinner will be provided by a taco truck. Casual dress is encouraged.
