Honor Week 2017: Honor Runs Deep

What does honor mean to you? At BYU, honor is more than not cheating on a test, more than not lying about how many hours you worked, and even more than the Honor Code.

During BYU’s annual Honor Week, we celebrate being kind to everyone, serving others, appreciating diversity and differing points of view. Honor is a trait that is embedded in ourselves, and this trait is reinforced through the Honor Code’s principles, such as kindness, integrity, honesty, virtue, and commitment.  In other words, “Honor Runs Deep” as stated in this year’s theme.

Honor week will be held the week of February 13-17, 2017. Join us as we remember friends, family, peers and leaders who have touched us by their honorable lives.  See what members of our BYU community have to say about honor by visiting honor.byu.edu.

In addition, BYUSA will be hosting several activities during Honor Week to celebrate those we honor as well as the honor within us.  Come join the celebration at the activities below:

Monday, February 13: T-Shirts and Photo Booth, Brigham Square, 12 p.m.

Tuesday, February 14: J-Dawgs and Nice Notes, Brigham Square, 12 p.m.
