Have you ever viewed artwork from a scientific point of view? Or seen an optical illusion representing sound waves? Did you know that there is such a thing as invisible light?

These are the kind of things you’ll see at this year’s Physics Demonstration Show as part of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) Summer Meeting. Brigham Young University and AAPT warmly invite you and the entire community to join them for an exciting performance where science and art meet in a marvelous display of physical phenomena.

The event is FREE and is a great opportunity for individuals and families of all ages to come and learn from several brilliant scientists from Utah and Idaho.

While the acronym “STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) excludes the vast field of artistic interest, these demonstrations in the fields of “STEAM” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) are sure to amaze you whether you’re left brained or right.

Date: Tuesday, July 23

Time: 8:30 pm

Place: JSB Auditorium – BYU Provo Campus
