CPMS Graduate Students have the chance to present their thesis and compete in a college and university-level competition. The challenge is to explain their thesis in three minutes or less in a language non-specialists can understand. The CPMS 3MT Competition will be Friday, February 24 on the 3rd Floor Commons in the Hinckley Center at 11:30 a.m. Two CPMS students will be chosen to advance to the university-wide final round, held Friday, March 3 in the WSC Varsity Theatre from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The first place winner of the CPMS competition will receive $1,000; second place will receive $750; and third place will receive $500. Additionally, five honorary mentions will each receive $50.
