Biography
Steven Jones did his undergraduate and masters work at BYU in mathematics, and then pursued a PhD in mathematics education at the University of Maryland. He is interested bridging the current major gaps that exist between how math is often taught in math classes versus how that same math is used and understood across STEM fields (science, engineering, economics, etc.). He has done most of this work in calculus education, but has also worked in various other math content areas, too. Outside of work, Dr. Jones loves music, and writes and records under the name "Deleted Neighborhoods."
