Biography
Scott Glasgow is an applied mathematical physicist at Brigham Young University. He received a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Arizona in 1993 under Pierre Meystre, and then joined the Optique Non-linéaire Théorique group at the Université Libre de Bruxelles as a post-doctoral fellow under Paul Mandel. In 1996 he became a post-doctoral fellow of the Arizona Center for Mathematical Sciences for Jerome Moloney. In 2000 he joined the mathematics faculty at Brigham Young. Current research interests regard real-time notions of dissipation in dielectrics and time-resolved Quantum Electrodynamics and Quantum Field Theory.
