Biography
I am from Wyoming. I went to BYU for a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in math. Then I completed a Ph.D. at the University of Michigan under the supervision of Yongbin Ruan. I completed a post-doc at the Leibniz University of Hannover in Germany prior to my appointment at BYU. I started at BYU in Fall 2016.
Research Interests
My research is in the area of algebraic geometry, and more specifically in mirror symmetry. I also study K3 surfaces.Teaching Interests
