Biography

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Brigham Young University. I was previously a Lecturer and Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of Statistics, working with the Causal Inference group. I did my Ph.D. in Statistics at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, Department of Information, Risk and Operations Management, under the guidance of Carlos Carvalho.

Research Interests

My areas of research have included causal inference, Bayesian nonparametric methods, nonlinear models, rank aggregation, and time-series, applied in projects within the fields of finance, econometrics, healthcare and sports.
