Formation and evolution of galaxies. Structure of galaxies, including 2D/3D fitting of surface brightness distribution and deep photometric and kinematic analysis of galaxy features. Surveys and catalogues of extragalactic objects. Scaling relations of galaxies. Dust in galaxies. Low-surface brightness Universe. Structure of the Milky Way. Polar-ring galaxies, low-surface brightness galaxies, superthin galaxies, active galactic nuclei, spiral structure. Robotic observations. Globular clusters.
