COLLEGE SPORTS
BYU cheers on its competitive Division 1 teams in football, basketball, volleyball, and many more sports every year.

RESTAURANTS
A quick walk down University and Center Streets shows just a small sampling of the many incredible restaurants in Provo, which feature foods from all over the world.

LIVE MUSIC
As the starting ground for national acts such as Imagine Dragons and Neon Trees, the music scene in Provo continues to foster incredible talent.

CULTURAL EVENTS
BYU, Provo, and surrounding areas are a central hub of art and culture in the Mountain West, presenting many enlightening events and places.

Spiritually Strengthening
In the religious atmosphere of BYU, students are prepared to tackle tough questions with an eye of faith. Belief and science are seen as subjects that are integrated, not opposing. Each Tuesday, life on campus pauses for the university devotional, in which professors and other leaders speak on topics of faith. Students of all religious affiliations are welcome.
Intellectually Enlarging
At BYU, students receive a world-class education. In addition to being top in their fields, the professors here make teaching a high priority. They are willing to give individual time to make sure students fully grasp the material and have chances to be involved in research.

Character Building
All students are required to agree to keep the university’s honor code, which helps create an environment of integrity and respect for everyone. BYU aims not merely to teach students a code of ethics but to help them become partakers of the divine nature.
Lifelong Learning & Service
Students are encouraged to find ways to give back during their time on campus when they leave BYU. Whether it’s bringing water to Africa or new drugs to cancer patients, students participate in research with a reason, finding solutions that improve the lives of real people.
