Statistics at BYU

BYU Statistics provides several outstanding advantages to its students. Students are involved in statistical analysis and data analysis from their first semester.

The required core curriculum for BS Statistics and BS Actuarial Science students meets the American Statistical Association (ASA) curriculum guidelines for Undergraduate programs in Statistical Science.

Yet another opportunity offered by the department is the Center for Collaborative Research and Statistical Consulting. The Center offers statistical support to the university community while providing training to graduate students in Statistics.
